DONNA ROONEY is the Director of Education. She has been writing, teaching, and lecturing at the university level in this field for over 15 years. Additionally, her background includes over 10 years in critical care nursing and working as a legal nurse consultant.

In 1986, Ms Rooney attended the University of Miami Law School where she obtained her Juris Doctorate. Presently, along with her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Rooney defends nurses before the State Board of Nursing, and handles medical / legal cases in her private practice as an attorney.
